THE ELLEN GORDON ALLEN COLLECTION

These six scrapbooks were the property of Mrs. Ellen Gordon Allen, the Founder of Ikebana International.  Mrs. Allen bequeathed the scrapbooks to Ikebana International Chapter No. 1, Washington, D.C.  By making this material available in digital format, we aim to provide access to other I. I. chapters and researchers interested in the art of ikebana.

We have added a seventh book, which as the title indicates are tributes to Mrs. Allen and additional documents collected after her passing.
