2023 Annual Exhibit

In April of every year, in collaboration with the U.S. National Arboretum, I.I. Chapter No.1 puts on an exhibit for the public, and the Chapter’s members prepare magnificent arrangements and free demonstrations.

This year the Annual Exhibit will be from April 7 through April 16 inside the Bonsai & Penjing Museum.  As always, it is open and free to the public. Many individual arrangements showing different styles and concepts from 7 different schools of Ikebana will be on display.  New arrangements will be installed on April 10 and April 13.  Hosts will be available to guide visitors through the exhibit and answer questions.

In addition, there will be a large floor arrangement in the lobby of the Administration building and an outdoor arrangement in front of the Bonsai & Penjing Museum.

We welcome the public to free demonstrations on weekends in the auditorium of the Administration building.  See dates and times under “Upcoming Public Events” on the sidebar. Here is a list of Schools and demonstrators:
